We are a bunch of United Methodists who love each other, who like to laugh about ourselves, and who have the strength in serving others. Cheney United Methodist Church a congregation that is truly open, welcoming, and even inviting – we are folks who have discovered life is much more interesting when everyone is not just alike. We don’t have all the answers, but we are getting better at asking questions – of God, the Bible, and especially ourselves. We take the Bible very seriously but not always literally (there are wonderful stories, allegories and parables, and poems in the Bible), and we encourage everyone to engage in their own process of investigation.
