Sassy Senior Society - Everybody is Welcome!
What is Sassy Senior Society (The Three S's)?
People in all generations feel lonelier. Loneliness is a big topic for youth, young adults and especially people over 60 who come out of retirement, lose their life partner, have to move to a new place and so on. This got us as a Church thinking and our Nurturing Team, which stays in contact with our members and worshipers, came up with a monthly event for Seniors over 60.
The idea:
A 90minute gathering with coffee and cookies and some program and spiritual input once a month.
We meet every third Wednesday of the month.
The dates for 2024 are on the purple flyer.
What kind of Program you can expect:
We are planning a vast variety of different things. But mostly it is time to experience community.
We meet in the fellowship Hall of our Church which is wheel chair accessible:

- Games like Bingo, Pub Quiz,
- Discussion about: What can I offer to our Cheney Community? What is the Christian Faith about? How can I be a more loving person?
