Following Ronda's sermon a couple of weeks ago on the first part of the Walk to Emmaus story in Luke's gospel, Mary Jane Shervais completes the story this week as we read of Jesus' communion with Cleopas and his friend. it was in the breaking of the bread that they recognize him, and so may we, too, as we share the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Mary Jane shares her experiences as a choir director, teaching us a new insights from neural resonance theory that explains the power of music and invites us to "Watch the Director!"
