Early Christians struggled with the question: “How free are we really in Christ?” Some believed following Jewish law was still essential; others thought grace gave license to do anything. Paul steps in like a spiritual coach, reminding them: “You’re free, but don’t confuse freedom with self-indulgence.” Instead, he says, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
